Coverdale Farms

July 21st I took Trent and Claire to Coverdale Farms (in Greenville, DE) for their "Farm Fun Days" event.  They have several different animals for children to see and pet, as well as an area of picnic benches for families to enjoyed packed lunches.  Trent loved the sheep more than any other animal.  I think he preferred them mostly because they got up close and personal, but also because "baaaa" is one of the few things he says.  There were bits of corn on the ground that he kept picking up and feeding to the sheep.  It was adorable.  After visiting the sheep we headed over to the pigs, chicks, cows, then calves.  We weren't allowed to touch the pigs because of their teeth, which was a shame because they were so darn cute.  One sow had 13 baby piggies and the second sow had only one thriving piggy.  Overall it was a short but eventful outing.

Don't forget to watch the video at the end of the pictures!
