been busy

Our return from our cruise in the beginning of December marked the start of a very busy month for me.  I was working more than ever and preparing for Christmas, both of which were sucking up my "spare" time.   Now, normally working more would equal blogging more (glad my bosses don't read this), but work's been so busy that I actually had to WORK at work.  And believe it or not, blogging can take an insanely long time, especially when pictures are involved. 

So yeah....that's why I haven't been blogging.  And now I'm falling so behind!!! 

If you didn't see the big news on facebook:  we got solar panels!!!  Currently they are just sitting on our roof looking pretty, they aren't actually connected and absorbing energy yet, but the electrician should be out on Saturday to finish us off.  I know what you're thinking: "your married to an electrician aren't you?".  Yes, but before you give him a hard time you should know that he's never installed solar panels, he didn't want to risk messing up our warranty, and he had to make a decision without having much time to research it.  Kevin is, of course, an amazing electrician!!

OK, it's time to play catch-up.  I have to post cruise pix, Christmas pix, and everything in between.  And then I need to start on January!
