15 Month Well Visit

• height = 30.5" (35%)
• weight = 23lbs 13.5oz (40%)
• head circum = 18.5" (45%)

Kevin took Trent to his 15 month well visit on Friday and everything went smoothly.  Trent, unfortunately, had to receive 2 shots, but overall he is doing really well.  He is now allowed to have honey, but is still rohibited from having nuts and shellfish.

Number of teeth: tooth #12 is making it's appearance

Bedtime: 8pm

Current interests: emptying cabinets and drawers!!

Proudest mommy moment: getting kisses and watching trent cuddle with maggie

Most anticipated upcoming event: seeing trent transform from only child to big brother

Next doctors appointment: 18 Months

Favorite food: goldfish

Other changes: very vocal, now using cloth diapers, we're weaning from the bottle

Favorite non-toy: anything with buttons - specifically remote controls

Recent "firsts": a couple months ago we started brushing Trent's teeth.  He doesn't mind it because the toothpaste tastes good, but Kevin has been teach Trent to spit so that he will know not to swallow the toothpaste.  Also, back in December Trent went on his first plane ride, among other things, when we went out to CA.

Alicia suggested I do something like this every once in a while - I'm thinking it would be nice to answer these same questions every few months. I'm sure there's other info I could include but I couldn't think of anything else. Please comment if you think of anything I can add!

Latest achievement: mastering the straw sippy cup!

Number of teeth: 6

Bedtime: 8pm

Current interests: clearing the table (not just food. He will remove anything and everything from the table until its clear). Also, taking his socks off.

Proudest mommy moment: watching Trent drink from his straw cup during dinner all on his own for the very first time. completely unassisted. Also, how well behaved and happy he was all throughout his birthday party and the heartwalk!

Most anticipated upcoming event: Thanksgiving. The holiday, the food, and the 4-day weekend he gets to spend with Daddy

Next doctors appointment: not until he is 18 months old, I believe

Favorite food: starches. my man loves his breads!

Other changes: he's become very squirmy and very vocal

Favorite non-toy: mommy and daddy's cell phones

Recent "firsts": We took him to a restaurant on Saturday for the first time in several months. It was the very first time he used a high chair the entire time and the very first time we ordered something off the kids menu for him!!!! And I must say, for $4.95 he got a nice size cheeseburger, mixed veggies, mac n cheese (and not your everyday mac n cheese. I'm talking penne), and oreo cookies (which daddy later ate). A drink and sundae came with the meal as well, but we didn't bother with those items. I was very impressed. Firebirds in Newark. Now I'm getting hungry again!
