There's this creamery we like to hang out at that is really great for the kids.  There's some land for the kids to play on, plenty of picnic tables, dozens of flavors, and the ice cream is fresh & great.  After being there half a dozen times (or more) we finally learned that every Tuesday they do a story time.  Why nobody ever mentioned this to us before is beyond me.  I mean, when we go there are usually at least 8 kids running around in our group alone.  At least.  But hey, at least now we know.  So we attended for the first time a couple weeks ago (June 26).  The reader read several stories then did a little game at the end where some kids (and even an adult) won books.  Everyone got a coupon to a local used book store before she left.  I definitely plan to return.
