July 14th
What we like about Storybook Land:
- The rides are extremely age appropriate for our kids
- They can get on every single ride except for 1 (Trent) or 2 (Claire)
- We've only gone on weekdays and there's never much of a line or wait, if any
- It's less expensive than the other amusement parks
- It's very shaded
- It's easy to eat a packed lunch there (we packed lunch last year)
What we don't like about Storybook Land:
- One of the rides Trent likes was removed
- A couple rides were out of commission
- A few of the rides were exactly the same as others, just with a different facade (for example, there was the dumbo ride and the dragon ride. Each did the same thing but one was designed to look like an elephant and the other was a dragon)
- It's pricey
- The food we ordered was pretty nasty (we didn't pack lunch this year)
All things we considered we had a great time. One again we couldn't have asked for better weather. There was a beautiful breeze that kept us very comfortable all day. In fact, dare I say it, I was a little chilly until mid-day.
Trent and Claire really seemed to enjoy themselves. Once again their favorite attraction was the small water park/playground. I swear Trent could spend all day in that one little area if he could. Per Trent's request we rode the train twice and the tram once (even though we had planned to skip the tram all together).

I took some video using the camcorder. Unfortunately I don't know how to go about posting those on my blog.
here's a picture from last year's trip to Storybook land next to this years pic. I think it's safe to say Kevin wore the same thing both years (which wasn't my reason for posting these pictures - it's simply a happy coincidence)
