Pint Sized Turtles

January 25th brought another addition to the Pint Sized Planeteers program. That day, the theme was SQUARES.  We sat on a zoo-themed quilt consisting of animal printed squares.  We saw pictures of animals with squares, we read a book, we got up and looked for squares around the room, and we made square picture frames out of popcicle sticks.  The highlight was seeing the live turtle again.  Trent and Claire both loved it.  We weren't allowed to touch it, but she let the turtle roam around semi-freely.

the instructor called all the kids over to the side of the room to side in a circle.  I was so surprised when Trent followed the others and sat down with the group.
