have you ever tried taking a picture of your house in the evening when its all light up with christmas lights

Key to success: set your camera on a flat unmoving surface then hit the button to snap the photo and wait until you hear the shutter close and open again before you pick it up.
Even if you think you're being PERFECTLY still, thos elittle fractions of an inch that you move give it that swirly affect.
BTW - I get the gist and it looks lovely.
